Annie Fecteau, ACSM-CPT

-ACSM Certified Personal Trainer

With over 10 years of experience in the health care industry, Annie has seen the damaging effects of the trend of obesity in the United States. With her own health reaching unhealthy levels after the birth of her son, she knew that it was time to take control of her health.

By joining Capital Health & Performance over two years ago, Annie successfully lost over 60 pounds under the skilled guidance of Chris Wheless, the gym's owner and head trainer. Previously unable to run even for a few minutes, in 2006, she completed a 5K run for cancer research, the popular Monument Avenue 10K and a duathlon which included a 2 mile run, a 375 yard swim and another 2 mile run! It was these accomplishments and a new found passion for fitness that prompted her to attain her personal trainer certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, one of the industry's most highly regarded certification standards.

As a trainer with Capital Health & Performance, Annie helps to guide clients not only in the gym but also with helpful nutritional advice for use outside of the gym; creating the total fitness package. Her enthusiasm for working out is "catchy" and she believes in everyone's capability to "dig out" his or her inner athlete. Her next goal is to complete a triathlon! WHAT'S YOURS? Whatever the fitness goal, challenge or dream, Annie is ready to help you succeed!
