AdventureFittWhat is it? The AdventureFitt Program was started several years ago to provide a way for clients to get away from the hussel and bussel of the urban work enviroment and enjoy the outdoors for a few hours. Since fitness is a lifetime endevour it is important to find activities which you like. The focus of these four hour courses is to help individuals discover outdoor activities and to provide them with the basic skills needed to feel safe and confident. The "workout" is masked in the enjoyment of learning basic outdoor skills such as creating fire, making shelter, finding water, and similar activities. The amount of energy expended (calories burned) in outdoor activites is very high, and unlike going to the gym, never boreing! Your worries will dissapear! During the course you will notice that your everyday cares and worries will be gone! This is because you will be in a peaceful and tranquel enviroment where your mind is occupied with learning new skills. You will be amazed at how "centered" you will feel at the end of the course! |
